How to Get Turkish Tax Number Online?

Step 1:

You need to go on to the website of Turkish Government Interactive Tax Office https://ivd.gib.gov.tr/ in order to get a Online Turkish Tax number for non residents.

Step 2:

Click on APPLICATION FOR NON CITIZEN'S POTENTIAL TAX NUMBER section in the middle of the screen.

Step 3:

A pop up screen will be opened and you need to fill out for Tax Identification number for non-citizen's.

Enter the security code and click Ok (Tamam)

Important note: If you are getting Error after you fill out the form saying Your identity and passport information could not be verified, it's most probably because of a spelling  mistake.

Turkish tax number online

Most common spelling mistake foreigners do when they try to get online tax number in Turkey is that they use the letter “I” instead of the letter “İ”.

You need to change your keyboard settings to Turkish or use small “i”  for everything.
